Collection: Pink Opal

Explore our Pink Opal Collection, featuring carefully selected specimens known for their soft coloration and smooth, naturally uniform appearance. Pink Opal is a variety of common opal, a hydrated amorphous form of silica (SiO₂·nH₂O) that forms without a crystalline structure, giving it its characteristic matte to waxy luster.

Unlike precious opal, Pink Opal does not display play-of-color. Instead, it develops through the slow deposition of silica-rich solutions within rock cavities and sedimentary environments. Over time, silica gels solidify and harden, with trace minerals contributing to the gentle pink tones that range from pale blush to deeper rose hues. Subtle variations in water content and mineral inclusions create natural patterns and color shifts unique to each specimen.
